Best thing to do in Coron, Palawan, Philippines
Scuba diving.
Yes. There's a vast array of choices to choose from, you can scuba-dive in a fresh water lake, in a sea with shipwreck, and you can also try to dive in an estuary. Many companies offer different kinds of scuba diving sites. i purchased the shipwreck and the barracuda lake diving sites. Before you go to the diving sites, you will have to undergo lectures and demonstration on how to use the gear, communicate under the sea and what to do in cases of emergencies.
It was my first time to experience scuba diving. At first i was afraid, but as i swam deeper, i looked at scuba diving as a privilege. Not all people experience and see this one of a kind view in the sea. I saw different kinds of fish, i let them eat the snails by crushing the snail's shells.
As we swam deeper, i thought i'm going to lose some air,but i was wrong, my tank is full of oxygen and i can feel the cold air entering my throat. Easy, i told my self. So, I focused on the fishes, the ship, the live corals. It was so alive under the sea. Very colorful and everything is in order.
After our 1st diving site, it rained hard- i felt like i'm in the midst of the studio.the water was calm, but the rain was so heavy. Fog, wind plus noisy drops of water to add in my studio-rain experience. then, we went to the barracuda lake. It took us an hour to reach the lake,by that time, it wasn't raining anymore. The lake is popular for the great barracuda. It is a fish that eats human flesh, a carnivore. Scary. I know right! We took our scuba suits off leaving our bathing suit on because they say, the temperature can go as high as 40*C. So, i'm excited. In the surface water, the temperature is not too cold and not too hot. We swam deeper, and deeper and deeper. The temperature changed. The fishes above is not the same below. The fishes were transparent, smaller, and i was thinking at the back of my mind, the barracuda might show up anytime. It's getting darker and i can see things happening in the water, it was like an oil mixing up with water. It was really scary down there. We also saw some holes in the rocks. Maybe the barracuda is hiding there somewhere. Unlike in the shipwreck site which is colorful, the barracuda lake offers another view. It's quiet and dark.
It's time to go up. 20 minutes is over. So we have to do Valsalva maneuver to get rid of pressure problems. :) yes!! And finally, i did it! It was such a privilege that God let me experienced this in Coron :)

3 things to consider if you wanna go to medschool
1. Passion
Do you really like to become a doctor? If it is your dream, sure then, no one can hinder you in pursuing your dreams. This is the most important question you have to answer. No one can snatch that away from you. To become a doctor, be sure to have the passion because passion comes first before anything else.
2. Finances
The tuition fee is pricey, but there are many schools who offer scholarship and part-time work for underpriviledge students. You can also can apply for the government schools or the state universities- they offer a cheaper tuition fee.
Books, laboratory and lecture manuals are necessary. Most of the medical schools these days requires you to buy the manual which is 300% more expensive than if you made it photocopied and binded. The good news about the books is that we have ebooks in pdf and chm format, it's a way cheap than buying the real ones.
Medicine is expensive, but surely, if you answer number 1 correctly, you'll have what it takes to become a doctor.
3. Time
There is a lot to consider about time. Pursuing your dream as a doctor will take you atleast 9-15 years. Basically, to become a general practitioner, you need to have to study a 4year premed course, take another 3 years to study medicine proper, plus a year to rotate as a clerk or a junior intern, then graduate, and take another year as a post-graduate intern, after that, you can take your board examination. If you pass the exam, then that's the time that you will become a doctor. You can still become a specialist by undergoing 3-4 year residency programs and you can be a subspecialist by undergoing further 2-year training as a fellow.
We only have 24 hours in a day, so you have to manage it very efficiently. As a medical student, you have to cross-out the things that eats your time. I'm sorry to say that you have to cut off your TV-time (if your fond of watching teledrama)-well, for me, since i entered Medicine, i only got to watch news during saturday nights, even to cut off or trim a little bit of your hang-outs with friends (you have to hang-out with your books), plus having a relationship while studying medicine takes a really good time mangement skills plus you have to have a very understanding, supportive and caring partner. :)
So if you think you are ready to pursue your dreams,
Hands up ^^ and let's heal the world!

Corregidor
I love the place! The view is terrific, mountains, trees, the bay, everything is in perfect place.
We arrived at the island at around 9am in the morning. 8 busses with tourist guides we're waiting for our arrival. We took a while site-seeing on the ruins of the war. It was the famous WWII. We saw some tunnels, some were from the Japanese and some were built by the Americans. It was old and found myself lost in history. School, churches, barracks and hospitals were destroyed during the war. It was well preserved in the island.
On our tour, we had known some Japanese, German and American foreigners. Its amazing on how everybody enjoys the tour, the Japanese went to the Japanese cemetery and made a prayer for their soldiers, while the Americans enjoy the tour inside the Malinta tunnel. We also went to the museum where we saw old bills, old bullets, cannon, pictures and paintings of the war.
The island is shaped like a tadpole, and some says, it looks like a sperm. I think they're both the same. The island has a Golf course, a hotel, beach resort, and a place where events can be held. It's a great place for team sports and other activities like camping.
a little trivia from the island: The government owns the island. There is 0% unemployment rate because everybody in the island are employees. :)
I suggest that the government would put up some diving spots in the area because i heard from a tour guide that, the are many ships that were wrecked from the war. If that happens,it would be a ship wreck diving area near the Metro. :) #just a thought
